At some point it was no longer about the money. The mind is such a fragile thing. I’m comparing this story to William Golding’s Lord of the Flies. The children from that story definitely weren’t driven by greed. This movie made me cry because I agree, humans can become very ugly creatures. But what really got me emotional was that Adrien Brody’s character despite the happenings believed in his conviction that humans were at the top of the chain of evolution (over monkeys)…..”people have the ability to change.” Well. So this movie was based on an actual event.I just watched this movie and it was amazing! It shows how ugly humans can get when greed and authority are abused.
